Paestum became World Heritage site in 1998. The site is located in the comune of Capaccio, province of Salerno. Paestum includes 5km of walls, 28 towers, 4 town doors and 3 well preserved temples. It is possible to visit some areas and homes of Romain ages. The National Archeological Museum is nearby the site. Not far away you can visit the Basilica of the ‘Most Holy Annunciation (Basilica della Santissima Annunziata). Paestum has 13 km of white sandy coast with equipped beaches.
